Motion Twin, the makers of Dead Cells, has announced their next game, Windblown. The release date of the game is currently unknown.
Motion Twin is known for their work on the game, Dead Cells. Motion Twin initially released the roguelike in 2018. It received several awards and critical acclaim, alongside free updates and DLC. Recently, they released a Return to Castlevania expansion. Their next game will likely differ significantly from Dead Cells
Windblown Details
During The Game Awards 2023, Twin Motion announced their next game, Windblown. The Steam page is now live, revealing more details. One of many details is how Windblown “brings a whole new level of speed to the action rogue-like genre. Like a bolt of lightning, freely dash through vast, ever-changing islands in the sky where each run is teeming with secrets to uncover. Find your rhythm in relentless battles against the Vortex’s Sentinels, hell-bent on taking you down. Brace yourself and face oppressive bosses who just can’t wait to chew you up and spit you out.”

The Game Awards 2023 is Airing Now
The Game Awards 2023 marks the 10th annual award showcase held in Los Angeles. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the TGAs look to provide a celebration of games and the developers behind them. Dozens of awards are up for grabs, from Best Score and Music to the coveted Game of the Year award. 2023 has proven to be one of the most memorable years of games in recent memory. We’ve seen releases like Spider-Man 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Final Fantasy XVI. This year’s awards winners will have fought a tough battle.
