Level Infinite and Sharkmob Reveal Tactical Shooter Exoborne

Explore the apocalyptic United States with Exo-rigs.

At The Game Awards today, players got their first look at the apocalyptic, open-world extraction shooter Exoborne. The game will arrive on both PC and consoles, which include PlayStation and Xbox. However, there is no release date as of writing.

Players will explore a part of the southeastern US in an unforgiving, apocalyptic world transformed by the forces of nature. Public events and missions promise to let players experience their own stories in an ever-changing world.

This title will be published by Level Infinite and developed by Sharkmob. This studio was founded in 2017 and has previously worked on the battle royale game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt. Sharkmod will utilize Unreal Engine 5 to develop Exoborne

    Exoborne Reveal Trailer

As seen in the trailer, players will utilize Exo-rigs, which give them a fighting chance in this bleak setting. These allow their users to enhance their physical capabilities, making them capable of powerful feats.

Additionally, players will be able to craft new items and gear from the remnants of technology that can be found around the game world. With this in mind, the game promises to provide situations with high stakes. Apparently, players will experience the fear of losing everything.

Exoborne is one of two major projects currently being developed by Sharkmob. There are currently no details on the other project, so be sure to keep an eye out for more info in the future!
