A new trailer announcing Black Myth: Wukong‘s release date has been revealed at The Game Awards today. The game will arrive next year on August 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Besides revealing the game’s release date, this trailer for the game also showcases its story. Additionally, gameplay is also showcased, but the overall focus is very much on the game’s narrative.
Black Myth: Wukong will be an action-adventure RPG taking heavy inspiration from Journey to the West. Players will control the “Destined One” as they embark on an adventure through Chinese mythology.
Furthermore, this will be Game Science’s first attempt at making a game of this scale. Fortunately, those who are eager to see the final result will not have to wait much longer now. More details are sure to arrive in the coming months, so be sure to keep an eye out!
The Game Awards 2023 is Airing Now
The Game Awards 2023 marks the 10th annual award showcase held in Los Angeles. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the TGAs look to provide a celebration of games and the developers behind them. Dozens of awards are up for grabs, from Best Score and Music to the coveted Game of the Year award. 2023 has proven to be one of the most memorable years of games in recent memory. We’ve seen releases like Spider-Man 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Final Fantasy XVI. This year’s awards winners will have fought a tough battle.
