More news about the highly anticipated Code Geass Z of the Recapture anime project will be revealed on December 18. The project will be a direct sequel to 2019’s Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection.
Announced in December 2020, the new Code Geass Z of the Recapture anime takes place in an alternate universe following the recap trilogy. News about the anime has been scarce ever since its announcement, but more news is seemingly on the way at a new screening event.

The official Code Geass Project Twitter account shared a major update, revealing that a screening event will be held by SUNRISE on December 18 at the Shinjuku Wald 9. More news and an exclusive teaser for Code Geass Z of the Recapture will be shown during the screening. One of the reveals includes the main cast of the upcoming anime project. Guests for the screening event include Lelouch voice actor Jun Fukuyama and director Yoshimitsu Ōhashi.
