Fallout TV Show New Pictures and Story Details Revealed

Premiering on Amazon Prime on April 12, 2024.

Amazon, Bethesda, and Vanity Fair have revealed new pictures and story details for the upcoming Fallout TV show. The show will premiere on Amazon Prime on April 12, 2024.

Fallout is one of Bethesda’s most prolific franchises. The most recent game in the series was Fallout 76, a controversial MMO-styled first-person shooter. The first trailer will likely be revealed during the series’ official panel at CCXP 2023 in Brazil. The event will begin on Thursday, November 30, and last until December 3, 2023.

    Fallout TV Show New Details

A recent article from Vanity Fair revealed new pictures and details from the upcoming Fallout TV show. The pictures show Walton Goggins as the Ghoul, the first look at the iconic Fallout power armor, Kyle MacLachlan as Overseer Hank, and Ella Parnell as one of the series’ main characters, Lucy.

The article also includes several new story details for the upcoming series. It states:

When a crisis forces Lucy to venture above on a rescue mission, she finds that the planet above remains a hellscape crawling with giant insects, voracious mutant animal “abominations,” and a human population of sunbaked miscreants who make the manners, morals, and hygiene of the gunslinging Old West look like Downton Abbey.

The first look from Vanity Fair also revealed more of what fans can expect from the upcoming series. For one, the series will feature the origin story of the iconic Vault Boy imagery. Further, the series will not retell the events of any prior game. Instead, it will have its own self-contained story.

The series will take place in Los Angeles, a stark contrast to Fallout 3‘s setting of Washington D.C., Fallout New Vegas‘ setting of the Mojave Desert, and Fallout 4‘s setting of Boston. According to Todd Howard, the story will also be canon to the rest of the franchise.

Lastly, the Fallout TV Show will premiere on Amazon Prime on April 12, 2024. The first trailer will likely be revealed during CCXP 2023, later this week.
