The Pokémon Company has announced that they will be airing a 3-part short anime about Terapagos after future episodes of Pokémon Horizons. They will air every week in the credits of episodes from December 1 to December 15.
Pokemon Horizons: The Series is a new show from the Pokémon universe. For the first time in decades, Ash Ketchum is not the main focus of the series. Instead, two new characters take up the role of series protagonists. The Pokémon Company dubbed the series starting on September 8, with subsequent episodes premiering every Friday. The latest arc, “The Brilliance of Terapagos,” is currently ongoing.
Pokémon Horizons Terapagos 3-Part Short Anime Starting Next Week
Recently, The Pokémon Company revealed that from episodes airing from December 1 to December 15, they will be premiering a 3-part short anime focused on Terapagos. The anime will air in the credits of each Pokémon Horizons episode. The episodes will be a companion piece to the current arc of the series, “The Brilliance of Terapagos.” Recently, the staff of the anime revealed a recap video that covers the events of the arc thus far.

Pokémon Horizons focuses on a journey of self-discovery as protagonist Liko seeks to learn more about herself. On the other hand, Roy, the other main protagonist of the series, aims to become a Pokémon trainer in his own right. The new anime seeks to adapt several Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet elements.
The new characters and Pokémon are proving to be an exciting contrast to Ash Ketchum and Pikachu from the original series. Liko and Roy will undoubtedly become beloved in their own right over time. The upcoming arc will further solidify their place as new legends in the Pokémon universe.
Lastly, the next episode of Pokémon Horizon‘s new arc will premiere on December 1. The first part of the upcoming 3-part short anime focused on Terapagos will air alongside it.
