The next Big Run event will feature the mighty Megalodontia, a new King Salmonid. An exact release date for Big Run has not been announced just yet.
Speaking of ocular enhancement, keep your eyes peeled this December for Megalodontia, a new King Salmonid! It's the largest observed—we estimate its bite radius at 1.4 boats wide. Yes, we're using boats as a unit of measurement! Desperate times call for desperate measurements! pic.twitter.com/4JKoMVi4J3

The Splattercolor Screen is a new special that will be introduced in Chill Season. This special projects a massive wall that allies may safely walk through, but enemies will lose the ability to see color if they pass through. Nintendo demonstrates the monochromatic effects in a new gameplay video.
You really have to see this effect for yourself! Fortunately, we have a video.
Notice that in addition to ocular monochromatic enhancement, enemies who touch the screen take damage.
And for the deploying team, remember that this is not a shield—it will not stop incoming ink! pic.twitter.com/nP3f1TVOy7— Splatoon North America (@SplatoonNA) November 20, 2023

The Foil Squeezer is another one of the new Splatoon 3 Chill Season weapons coming on December 1. This is a basic Squeezer with Autobombs and the aforementioned Splattercolor Screen special. Players may also look forward to the Undercover Sorella Brella, another new weapon featuring the Splattercolor Screen.
And while we're at it, here's the Undercover Sorella Brella. It's got the same specs as the Undercover Brella with a new design.
Plus, this loadout comes with the Torpedo sub and—you guessed it—the Splattercolor Screen. We'd love to see how folks are using the screen in battle! pic.twitter.com/WWYhOQ296D

Alongside “No Quarters,” Chirpy Chips has another single for Chill Season titled “Slopping Spree”. Nintendo shared a 50-second clip of the new single.
Here, listen. The tune is called Slopping Spree, and the bass player and composer, Orion, says that they were inspired by some of the random humming that Harmony is always doing. They also called it a battle anthem, but we get the sense that they don't REALLY care who wins. pic.twitter.com/uKsbknKq6H
