Arc System Works released the opening movie for UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Sys:Celes ahead of the open beta test launch. The opening movie provides a glimpse into the game’s main story and playable characters.
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes will support rollback netcode, online lobbies, and many more enticing features that make this a comprehensive fighting game. Players may also look forward to the story mode, new playable characters, new techniques for all returning characters, and the Celestial Vorpal mechanic. Some of these features will be available in the open beta test, which begins today.

The UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes open beta test will be held from November 16 at 5:00 p.m. PST to November 19 at 11:00 p.m. PST on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It includes access to online matches, offline matches against CPU, 2-player matches, and practice in training mode. These modes include Casual Match (Network), Character Select (Network), Vs Player, Vs CPU, Watch, Free Training, and Option.
Physical pre-orders for UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes are available now for $49.99 at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and Target. Digital edition pre-orders open today, November 16, with the Deluxe Edition. Additionally, pre-orders include the free Season Pass and instant access to playable character Kuon. The Season Pass includes three playable DLC characters that will be released after the game’s launch. Moreover, Kuon is unlockable through normal progression.
Lastly, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes launches January 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
