Chill Season 2023 will begin on December 1 in Splatoon 3, and fans can expect a major update as well. Fans can expect new weapons, the returning Bluefin Depot map, new clothing, and so much more. A new King Salmon is teased in the new trailer as well, so fans will need to prepare for Big Run once more.

Those watching the trailer will immediately notice the return of Chirpy Chips with the single “No Quarters”. The music video depicting gameplay on the Bluefin Depot map along with new weapons that are not present in the game currently. More details will likely come soon on Splatoon’s official Twitter account. Typically, Nintendo will release new information almost daily in the lead-up to the start of a new Splatoon 3 season.

    Watch the new trailer below.

The official Splatoon Twitter account says, “SRL Musicology here, pumped to reveal a new Chirpy Chips single and music video! Yeah, Ballistics and Fashion Desk and pretty much everyone else is yelling that this is actually the Chill Season trailer (coming 12/1, BTW), but we’re focused on the retro synth chiptune bassline!”

As a reminder, Nintendo Switch users may purchase Splatoon 3 with a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher. For $99.98, players may purchase two game vouchers that can be used to redeem select Nintendo Switch games. Since games are normally $59.99, buying two games with the game vouchers normally results in some savings.

Lastly, Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch. A new update is expected to release soon with the launch of the Deep Cut amiibo.
