Larian Studios has announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be releasing on the Xbox Series X|S in December. They will confirm the exact date during The Game Awards 2023 on December 7.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a strategy RPG based around the worlds of the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop RPG. The game features a cast of unique characters in a story that has garnered critical acclaim. It is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac.

In a tweet, Larian Studios announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 on the Xbox Series X|S is “on track for a December release.” Additionally, they will confirm the exact release date for the game during The Game Awards 2023 on December 7.
Baldur’s Gate 3, along with Alan Wake 2, have been nominated the most compared to any game at The Game Awards. It has been nominated for Game of the Year, Best Direction, and Best Narrative. The Game Awards have also nominated the game for Best Score, Best Performance, Best Community Support, and more. The game features an in-depth romance mechanic, an intriguing story, and riveting gameplay that have made it one of the biggest hits of 2023.
