Cygames has announced that a Granblue Showcase dedicated to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will premiere on December 2. The event will begin at 1 AM PDT and will focus on gameplay, modes, and more.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a follow-up to the 2020 fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus. The game is a 2.5D fighting game set in the world of the beloved RPG Granblue Fantasy. The new game will feature several new mechanics and characters. This past weekend, an open beta for the game was held. Check out our impressions of the beta here.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Showcase Set for Next Month
On the official Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising website, they confirmed more details about the upcoming showcase. They stated the following:
“We’ll be showcasing the latest updates for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on the Granblue Showcase: Part 2 – GBVSR stream on Dec 2! We’ve invited some special guests to join us once again to reveal new information for the title, show off gameplay, and more! Members of the Cygames team join in on the fun with an in-house tournament, Grand Bruise! action, and another look at the previously announced figure studio.”
The event will begin on December 2 at 1 AM PDT/3 AM EDT. Emiri Katō, the voice of Sierokarte, will host the event. The following guests will be present during the showcase:
- Asami Imai (Voice of Vira)
- Maki Kawase (Voice of Rein)
- Nakao (The Game’s Commentator)
- Tetsuya Fukuhara (GBVSR Creative Director, GBF Relink General Director)
- Yasuyuki Kaji (GBF Relink Director)
- Other Members of the Cygames team
The event will be available to watch on the official Granblue Fantasy YouTube account. It is unlikely that more characters will be announced during the showcase. Fans can expect more specific information to be revealed on December 2.
