The Pokémon Company and Game Freak announced Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC launches on December 14 for Nintendo Switch. This is the second of two DLCs that expand the player’s journey outside of the Paldea region.

Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, The Teal Mask, was released this past September for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The DLC brings players to the land of Kitakami for a new journey. This journey continues in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk, which brings players to Blueberry Academy for a study abroad.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Explores The Indigo Disk

The December 14 release date for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC was confirmed in a new tweet from the official Pokémon Twitter account. Further details about the DLC were not revealed, but the DLC’s official key art was updated to include the new release date. The release date has not been updated into the Nintendo eShop just yet, however.

In The Indigo Disk, players go to Blueberry Academy to study curriculum that focuses on Pokémon battling. This curriculum ensures students will learn the best techniques for battling at the highest level. Moreover, players will explore the Terarium, an undersea facility that’s home to many Pokémon. Moreover, several returning Pokémon from previous generations will make their return.

Here’s an overview of the new DLC, via the Nintendo eShop:
