One of the unique characters in Star Ocean: The Second Story R that you can recruit is the scientist Leon.
Character Recruitment Basics
There are a few basics of character recruitment to keep in mind on your adventure.
- You can only have a maximum party size of 8 total characters
- Most characters are recruited from Sub Events and Private Actions. Be sure to refer to your map often in order to stay as up-to-date as possible.
- There are a couple of characters that are only available to one of the two protagonists. So choose wisely in order to get who you really want!
- Some characters require you to decline another character’s offer to join you in order to get.
As long as you remember these basics, it’ll be a cinch to get what characters you want. However, sometimes there are extra requirements that you must complete in order to complete the recruitment process.
How to Recruit Leon in Star Ocean: The Second Story R
You will start seeing Leon an awful lot once you get into the storylines on the Laceur continent. He plays a pivotal role in the story so this may make him grow on you. If you want him to join, keep playing the story until after the second set of events at the Laceur Front Line Base. He will automatically ask to join you during the story. Just take him with you.
NOTE: Leon is only available if you select Claude as your protagonist.
