Aniplex and the Blue Exorcist anime series staff revealed the new opening theme song (OP) for Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga. This upcoming anime will adapt volumes 10-15 of the manga series, and fans can expect a new opening theme song from UVERworld.
The Blue Exorcist anime made its debut with a 25-episode run in 2011. A Blue Exorcist movie would release one year later in 2012, but fans had to wait five more years for the anime series to return in 2017 with Kyoto Saga. After another long wait, Blue Exorcist will return with a new anime in January 2024.

A new 30-second promo video for Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga was released, revealing the OP theme song “Eye’s Sentry” by UVERworld. The new anime will premiere in January 2024, and the original Blue Exorcist voice cast will return to reprise their roles.

Daisuke Yoshida directs the returning anime series at Studio VOLN with Toshiya Ono overseeing the series scripts. Yurie Oohigashi is the character designer and chief animation director, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano compose the music.
