    Fate/Samurai Remnant Update Adds New Feature & Difficulty Levels

    Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon reveal a new update for Fate/Samurai Remnant will add a new “Battle Recollections” feature and more difficulty levels. This will be one of Fate/Samurai Remnant’s biggest post-launch updates to date. 

    Fate/Samurai Remnant recently surpassed 300,000 copies sold, making it one of Type-Moon’s fastest selling games. Those sales are expect to grow further with the release of new DLC and updates over time. The next major update for the game will bring notable pieces of content for free. 

    Fate/Samurai Remnant Free Update

    The official website for Fate/Samurai Remnant has been updated with more details regarding a new update coming soon. This new update adds a new battle mode featuring Rogue Servants and other playable servants to Battle Recollections. The new update will adds an easier difficulty for a more story-centered experience and a harder difficulty that prohibits retries and the use of items during battle. More details about the new update will be released at a later date. 

    The most recent update for Fate/Samurai Remnant released just a few days ago on October 23. Patch notes for this update are available below.

    • Fixed an issue where the game would become stuck when a certain condition was met.
    • Added an option in the Steam version to be able to assign the Escape key as the cancel button.
    • Other minor bug fixes.
