Crunchyroll has announced that their service is available now on Amazon Prime Video in the US. Both the Fan and Mega Fan tiers are available on Prime.
Crunchyroll is releasing several major Fall 2023 anime on their service. Examples include The Apothecary Diaries, SPY X FAMILY, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Further, Crunchyroll will be available through Amazon Prime in Canada, Sweden, and the U.K. this week. Further territories will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
Crunchyroll Available Through Amazon Prime Video
Crunchyroll is available on Amazon Prime Video with an additional purchase in the US. According to Variety, prime members can pick from two Crunchyroll membership plans: Fan ($7.99/month in the U.S.) or Mega Fan ($9.99/month). Both tiers allow viewers to watch the entire Crunchyroll library and new episodes as they air without ads. Further, those who purchase the Mega Fan tier can download episodes for offline viewing.
Amazon Prime Video is available for the following prices:
- $14.99 a month for both Prime shipping and Prime video.
- $139 per year
- Prime Video is available separately for $8.99.
- Student pricing is $7.49 a month.
- $69 a year.
Additionally, an ad-free plan will be available on Prime Video in 2024. Crunchyroll has also launched an ad-supported channel with partners like Amazon’s Freevee service. Terry Li, executive VP of emerging business at Crunchyroll, stated the following about the collaboration:

Fans can view the service online, gaming consoles, Fire TV, Smart TVs, Blu-Ray players, and more. Crunchyroll is available through Amazon Prime now in the US.
