A deep look into dorm and school life.

    Published:

SEGA and ATLUS released a slew of new details regarding Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S), Social Link characters, dorm life, and much more in Persona 3 Reload. The protagonist will have plenty of time to spend with intriguing characters at Gekkoukan High School when the game launches next February.

Following the Junpei Iori character trailer for Persona 3 Reload, ATLUS shared more details about the game’s Social Link characters, which all return from the original Persona 3 game. Once more, the protagonist may grow closer and strengthen bonds with members of S.E.E.S and fellow Gekkoukan High School students through Social Links.

    Persona 3 Reload S.E.E.S Members

S.E.E.S members have all-new battle uniforms while exploring Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload. The protagonist (voiced by Aleks Le) wields a one-handed short sword and the Persona Orpheus, who is known as a heroic poet and master of the lyre in Greek mythology. As a Wild Card Persona user, the protagonist may wield multiple Personas and types of Theurgy, including Cadenza and Best Friends.

The protagonist is joined by Yukari Takeba (VA: Heather Gonzalez) and Junpei Iori (VA: Zeno Robinson). Yukari wields a combat bow and the Persona Io, a priestess in service of the goddess Hera in Greek mythology. Yukari has an affinity to wind and healing skills, and her Theurgy skill is Cyclone Arrow, which ignores an enemy’s wind resistance.

Junpei wields a two-handed sword and the Persona Hermes, who is a revered messenger of Zeus. He has an affinity for fire and slashing skills, and his Theurgy skill is Hack n’ Blast. His Theurgy skill is capable of ignoring physical affinities on enemies through a heavy slash attack.

    Social Stats and Dorm Life

The protagonist will have three Social Stats that may be level up: Courage, Charm, and Academics. Social Stats must be improved in order to access certain facilities and develop Social Links. These stats can be improved through activities like studying and
    part-time jobs.

While living in the student dorm, the protagonist may spend time with friends in common areas. Dorm life activities include cooking, studying, reading books, watching movies, tending to the rooftop garden, and much more. By spending time with friends, the protagonist’s Social Stats will improve, and friends may learn passive skills known as Combat Characteristics. The public computer may be used to study and gather intel, which raising Social Stats and grants useful combat/exploration skills.

Schoolmates for Social Links in Persona 3 Reload

The protagonist may forge bonds with certain Gekkoukan High School students through Social Links. Hanging out with them will help strengthen those bonds, which also boost Persona abilities and unlock new Personas to fuse. In Persona 3 Reload, Social Link characters now have new portrait illustrations, and scenes are now fully voiced.
