    Arc System Works revealed UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes playable character Tsurugi in a brand-new trailer. He will be available in the game’s base roster alongside the likes of Kuon and Kaguya.

    UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes will support rollback netcode, online lobbies, and many more enticing features that make this a comprehensive fighting game. Further, players may also look forward to the story mode, new playable characters, new techniques for all returning characters, and the Celestial Vorpal mechanic. 

    Tsurugi Enters the Fray in UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes

    Tsurugi is a friend of Hyde’s from school and a prominent member of a vigilante group called the EFG. The EFG’s main objective is to defend their fellow students from the evil influences of wielders, so they tend to avoid dealing with the Night. However, the Final Night is a different story. In order to protect his classmates–not to mention the rest of the world–Tsurugi decides to confront the root of all evil: the Re-Birth.

    Fighting game fans may now pre-order the physical edition of UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes for $49.99 at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and Target. Digital edition pre-orders are not available yet, however. Additionally, pre-orders include the free Season Pass and instant access to playable character Kuon. The Season Pass includes three playable DLC characters that will be released after the game’s launch. Moreover, Kuon may be unlocked through normal progression, so the character is not locked to pre-orders. 

    Lastly, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes launches January 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
