NEOWIZ developer Round8 Studio announced Lies of P surpassed one million copies sold across all platforms. The game managed to reach this milestone in less than a month’s time.
As highlighted in our review, Lies of P is an incredible souls-like game that lets players explore the tale of Pinocchio in a different light. P is a puppet that must fight his way through the city of Krat in order to find Geppetto and become a human. One million players began their journey in Krat over the past month.
Lies of P Moves One Million Copies
One million copies of Lies of P were sold as of October 16, 2023, which less than a month after the game’s September 19 release date.
“This incredible milestone for Lies of P proves the potential of Korean console games on the global stage,” said NEOWIZ co-CEO Seungchul Kim in a press release. “The Lies of P project was a challenging endeavor for NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio and we take great pride in what we achieved with this title.”
“The reception has been incredible so far, and we are beyond thankful that over 1 million players have already embarked on their journey through Krat,” said Lies of P director Jiwon Choi. “Likewise, we are excited for what the future holds for Lies of P, and can’t wait to share more when the time is right.”
