During Monday Night Football, Insomniac Games released a cinematic trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 titled “Be Greater. Together.” The game will release on October 20 exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the long-anticipated follow-up to Spider-Man for the PS4. It also follows up Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PlayStation 4 and 5. The game will feature Miles Morales and Peter Parker as playable characters and include several new mechanics and characters, including the monstrous Venom and deadly Kraven. The latest cinematic trailer showcases more of the battle between the two Spider-Men and Venom.
Spider-Man 2 “Be Greater. Together” Cinematic Trailer Revealed
The cinematic trailer for Spider-Man 2, titled “Be Greater. Together,” hints at the struggles Miles and Peter will be facing as they fight against the game’s main antagonist, Venom. Both characters are dealing with the loss of one of their respective loved ones and questioning their ability to “protect the people [they] love.” However, as the two heroes state, “This is my power, this is my responsibility.” The trailer sets up the emotional fight that both Spider-Men will face as they battle New York’s greatest threat.

Lastly, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch on October 20. It will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5. Earlier today, Insomniac announced that a new PS5 bundle will be released on the same day as Spider-Man 2. The package will include the game at no additional cost.
