The second DLC character for the recently released Street Fighter 6, A.K.I, is now available on all consoles. New patch notes have also been released alongside the new character.
Capcom initially released Street Fighter 6 on June 2, 2023. The game features nineteen characters, including the first DLC addition, Rashid. The following two characters in the first DLC character pack will be Ed and Akuma.
A.K.I Available Now
Capcom released a new trailer that shows off the kind of moves that A.K.I is capable of in Street Fighter 6. Check out the preview for the slithering master of poison below:
Alongside the trailer and release of A.K.I, Capcom also posted the patch notes for the September 27 update. Here are some of the major highlights:
- Latin American Spanish added to supported languages
- Added support for Share Screen functionality during online battles. (PS4/PS5)
- You can now toggle ‘Button Release Input’ on or off via Control Settings on the Character Select screen for Versus and other modes
- Ranked Match: A new rank, Legend, has been added for players that fall within the top 500 in the Master League rankings.
Please note that the rank will only be attainable from November 1, 2023, when Phase 2 begins. - Custom Room: Custom Room Display Settings have been added
- Display of invincibility frames added for A.K.I.
- Training Mode features have been expanded
- After updating, you won’t be able to play back replays from earlier versions.
- Replays saved to your Replay List will remain saved, but cannot be played back.
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to progress to Tier 21 and beyond of the Fighting Pass without purchasing Premium Rewards.
- Other miscellaneous bugs were also fixed.
Lastly, A.K.I is available now for Street Fighter 6. Those hoping to give the fighting game a try can purchase it on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
