Type-Moon and Koei Tecmo released two new TV commercials for Omega Force-developed action RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant. Less than a week remains before the game’s worldwide launch, so the new commercials serve as a final sneak peek.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is releasing on September 29 as the next major entry in the long-running Fate series. A new Holy Grail War takes place in Edo, and fans gain another glimpse into the title with the newly released TV commercials.
Fate/Samurai Remnant New TV Commercials
During Koei Tecmo’s Tokyo Game Show 2023 stage show, two new Fate/Samurai Remnant TV commercials were published. Fans in Japan will begin to see the TV commercials air on Japanese broadcasting networks starting today. Moreover, the commercials will likely air on YouTube. Koei Tecmo also released a brief teaser trailer featuring Dorothea Coyett (voiced by Aya Hirano) and her Servant, Assassin (voiced by Hideo Ishikawa).

Fate/Samurai Remnant will be one of the main titles featured at Tokyo Game Show 2023 this weekend. A playable demo is available at Koei Tecmo’s TGS 2023 booth, The demo includes an early portion of the main story and a challenging boss battle, and those who complete the demo will receive an original pin badge. A total of eight pin badges are available, and fans may also purchase merchandise at the official booth.
In Fate/Samurai Remnant, players will explore a new a new Fate story set in the 4th year of the Keian Era, Edo Period in Japan. Protagonist Miyamoto Iori may earn the trust of various servants such as Miyamoto Musashi, Cú Chulainn, and Tamamo Aria. In addition, a new Saber supports Iori while exploring Edo and progressing the main story.
Lastly, Fate/Samurai Remnant launches September 29 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Physical and digital pre-orders for Fate/Samurai Remnant are available now.
