    Sonic Superstars: Trio of Trouble Animated Short Released

    SEGA has officially released an animated short for Sonic Superstars, titled Trio of Trouble, on YouTube. The short sets up the story for the upcoming single-player and co-op adventure before it releases on October 17.

    Sonic Superstars is the highly anticipated next entry in the 2D Sonic franchise. The game will allow you to take control as Sonic in the series’ latest single-player platformer. There is also the option to play alongside friends as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. Before launch, fans may watch a new animated short that prepares fans for the game.

    Sonic Superstars: Trio of Trouble focuses on the fearsome Fang the Hunter, Trip, their helpless guide, and Dr. Eggman. Their journey brings them into contact with traps, dangerous enemies, and an item that could end up being the key to Eggman’s next “dastardly plot.” Evan Stanely directed the short, with famed artist Tyson Hesse co-directing it.     Sonic Superstars continues the 2D iteration of the long-running series. Following the release of Sonic Frontiers last Fall, Superstars offers a new single-player and four-player co-op experience unlike anything fans have seen in the franchise.
