After major boss encounters, the player earns items called “Rare Ergo”. Players can either choose to consume these items to add to their total Ergo count or sell them to an NPC. This NPC, known as Alidoro, will provide players with special equipment in exchange for Rare Ergo. Here is where you will find Alidoro in Lies of P.
Meeting Alidoro for the First Time
First, you’ll want to make sure you teleport to the Stargazer at the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library. This location is available in the fourth area of the game. If you have not yet unlocked this location, you will need to progress through the game until you do so.
If visiting this location for the first time, you will need to take the path to the left of the spawning point. Down this path, you will be faced with several enemies, but it’s rather linear. Eventually, you will find yourself in a large room with a lift at the end (pictured below). Deal with the enemies in this room and enter the lift.
At the top, you will finally be able to meet Alidoro for the first time. He will ask the player if there’s a place he can seek refuge. You can either choose to tell a lie or the truth here, but it’s likely preferable to send him to Hotel Krat. However, if you choose to lie, you will get a second chance to send him to Hotel Krat when you visit him at Venigni Works.
After this interaction, feel free to talk with Alidoro again to gain access to his shop. Here, you can spend Rare Ergo to purchase special weapons and amulets. Be sure to take anything you want before you move on.
Where to Find Alidoro Next
After Alidoro leaves the location pictured above, he will be at the location the player sent him to. Once he arrives at Hotel Krat, he will remain there for the majority of the game. Be sure to visit him again as you continue collecting Rare Ergo.
