Chapter 1091 Recap
Chapter 1091 kicked things off with the Marines fighting against the Kumas put on Egghead Island. We then see the Sea Beast Weapons jump from the water and attack multiple ships, snapping one completely in half. While this is occurring, the Vice Admirals make landfall on the island. We then pan to see the Straw Hats and Vegapunk spectate Kizaru fighting against Sentomaru.
The next few pages of the chapter show flashbacks of when Sentomaru first met both Vegapunk and Kizaru. Kizaru tells Sentomaru that he taught him all he knows. After this, Kizaru lands a blow that puts out Sentomaru. He looks up and aims for the Straw Hat Pirates. Then, he states, “Checlist to be eliminated… Dr. Vegapunk”. It is revealed that the World Government is looking to eliminate Vegapunk!
Flashback to where Vegapunk is, and Lucci stabs Stussy as she protects Vegapunk and saves his life. Zoro then confronts Rob Lucci, looking to pick a fight. The chapter ended with Luffy and Kizaru, neck and neck, about to face off. Will they end up brawling it out in Chapter 1092? We’ll have to wait and see.
