Feral Interactive has announced that a Company of Heroes Collection will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The collection will be available at some point in autumn 2023.
Company of Heroes is a real-time-strategy game developed exclusively for the PC. Created by Relic Entertainment, the franchise invites you to participate in battles throughout World War 2. More information on the game’s release date will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
Company of Heroes Collection Coming Soon
The Company of Heroes Collection will be the first time the original games have debuted on a console. More information is available on the game’s official website. The Collection will include the original Company of Heroes game and its two expansions: “Opposing Fronts” and “Tales of Valor.” It will also feature “a bespoke user interface and controls designed for play on Nintendo Switch, the full battlefield will be under the player’s command.
Intense tactical combat takes place across 41 squad-based missions, with moment-to-moment encounters shaping the course of each battle. A customizable Skirmish mode is also included, with unique factions, multiple game modes and a wealth of maps, offering enormous replayability and rewarding bold experimentation.”
Additionally, Feral Interactive has announced that the game will include a multiplayer update in the months post-launch. The game will be available this autumn. Check out the official trailer below:
Company of Heroes 2 and 3 are available now on PC and Xbox Series X|S. The third installment is also available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One. The entire franchise and all of its expansions are available through Steam. Feral Entertainment has not yet confirmed if the collection will be released on other consoles.
