Square Enix has officially unveiled their Tokyo Game Show Lineup and Schedule for 2023. The show is set to start on September 21, and there are hundreds of games awaiting to be shown off from the different developers attending. The company has dozens of anticipated titles in the works, from the giant that is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to the multiplayer shooter FOAMSTARS. Here is everything revealed so far for Square Enix at Tokyo Game Show.

21:00 – Eiko Kano’s Critikano Hit: Tokyo Game Show 2023 Special Episode – Regularly shown on Square Enix’s official YouTube channel, “Eiko Kano’s Critikano Hit” series is hosting a special Tokyo Game Show 2023 episode! On this installment of the game-centered variety program, join Eiko Kano, Kenta Sakai (Alco and Peace), and Masayuki Kibe (game scenario writer) as they visit booths to play through some anticipated titles and show viewers around the exhibition. 15:00 – Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXIX – Our next Letter from the Producer LIVE comes straight from the Tokyo Game Show 2023 show floor, and will share the latest details and live gameplay for Patch 6.5, “Growing Light”! (Please note that the presentation slides will include both Japanese and English text, but the presentation audio will be in Japanese only.) Featuring Naoki Yoshida (Final Fantasy XIV producer and director) and Toshio Murouchi (Final Fantasy XIV global community director).
Where Are Final Fantasy VII Rebirth & Kingdom Hearts?
This TGS schedule for Square Enix has some holes that can easily be filled. Expect to see these filled if an event, such as State of Play, airs prior to Tokyo Game Show 2023. It is highly likely we will see some sort of trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at TGS, especially considering the game is due out in Early 2024.
As for Kingdom Hearts, Missing-Link and Kingdom Hearts IV have yet to receive new information recently. The former is expected to release this year after the release of the closed beta; however, with no news, it could be interesting to see this title at TGS.
