PROTOTYPE has officially announced that a Nintendo Switch version of the Yuri visual novel The Curse of Kudan will release on December 21. The game will include English, Japanese, and Chinese language options.
Developer SukeraSparo and publisher PROTOTYPE initially released The Curse of Kudan in 2019. They first released the PC version exclusively in Japan, and then a few months later, they released it on iOS and Android. In 2020, they released it in English for PC only. The developer has not yet confirmed if the Switch version will come to the West.
The Curse of Kudan on Switch
Physical and digital editions will be released for the upcoming game. The physical edition will cost 4,950 yen, or approximately $35. The digital edition will cost 4,300 yen or around $30. In the past, PROTOTYPE has released English localizations for their games in Japan and the West on the same day. Expect developer SukeraSparo and publisher PROTOTYPE to reveal the status of a Western release for The Curse of Kudan on the Switch in the coming months.

Feelings start to bud between student Sakuya Kudan and culinary teacher Touko Shima
after coincidence brings them into one another’s orbit. However, their peaceful everyday life is abruptly shattered when Touko sees Kudan, the harbinger of calamity.
The hours tick down as Sakuya rushes to find a way to combat the curse, and her search brings her to the academy’s Occult Research Club and its president, Koto Ashinaki. Now she must face off against the unknown in order to protect the people she loves…
Lastly, The Curse of Kudan will be released on the Nintendo Switch in Japan on December 21. The game is also available now on PC in all regions.
