Square Enix has announced that the next update for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will include a new story expansion, new characters, and more. The update will be available starting on August 30.
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a free-to-play mobile game set in the universe of Octopath Traveler. Square Enix initially released the game in 2018. Alongside the announcement, they revealed more information about the characters and story update that will be added to the game.
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent Update
The new update for Champions of the Continent includes the following content:
- Starting on August 30, players can participate in “Bestower of All: Chapter 3.” This new story expansion will depict Bargello and the Ringbearer coming face to face with the fallen Sonia and a new threat in Castle Edoras.
- Throughout the month, new EX characters will appear in the game. One will be Sofia (EX Apothecary job version) and the other Fiore (EX Dancer job version). Discover their origins in new Memoirs and use their mighty battle and support skills.
