The teaser and release date for the anime adaptation of the popular manga My New Boss Is Goofy has been unveiled.
The adaptation was confirmed to be released in May 2023, with a poster and teaser along with the information. Now, the release date for the series has been officially confirmed, and a new teaser has been released. The anime is set to air in October 2023. This means it will air in the Fall 2023 season.
The series is about 26-year-old Kentaro Momose, who has left his previous job due to intolerable harassment by his boss. He has now found a new job and is very anxious about the possibility that his new boss will also harass him. He tries to hide all his fears, but it quickly dissipates when he finds out how much of an airhead his boss, Shirasaki, is.
My New Boss Is Goofy – Staff and Cast
The anime is set to be animated by A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Sword Art Online, Seven Deadly Sins, Fairy Tail, and many other popular anime.
The series will be directed by the industry veteran Noriyuki Abe. His resume is extensive, working on hit series like Bleach, Naruto and Boruto, Hunter X Hunter, and Yu Yu Hakusho. It’s safe to say that the series is in great hands.
Yuichiro Umehara will voice Yusei Shirosaki, the airhead boss. Yuichiro is also a seasoned veteran, working on Bleach, My Hero Academia, and Ao Ashi. Kotaro Nishiyama will voice the main character Kentaro Momose.

The series has yet to announce any simulcast platforms for streaming, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as any new information arises. The manga began releasing in 2018, so there is an ample amount of source material to cover in this season.
