Another look at Boruto's post-timeskip design.

Shueisha revealed the official cover art for the new Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga chapter before its imminent release. The new chapter will continue the story of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations after a timeskip.

The October 2023 V-Jump issue is releasing soon with cover art depicting Boruto Uzumaki in the upcoming Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga. Both Boruto and Sarada Uchiha have updated designs. The new chapter’s release ends of a near three-month hiatus for the Boruto manga that began this past April.

Shueisha have revealed the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga chapter 1 cover by illustrator Mikio Ikemoto via Shueisha’s official Naruto Twitter account. The new chapter cover is similar to the V-Jump October 2023 cover, but Boruto’s new design is further emphasized through the use of a white background. Where to Read Boruto Manga

Boruto Two Blue Vortex will continue the story of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga with chapter 1 on August 20 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The manga will be available through VIZ Media and Manga Plus in English simultaneously with the new V-Jump release.

In Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Boruto deals with the consequences of Eida’s Omnipotence ability. The activation of Omnipotence caused everyone’s memories of Boruto to change, turning him into a target responsible for the death of Naruto Uzumaki, his father and the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Sasuke Uchiha appears to have been unaffected by Omnipotence due to his own visual prowess, so the two characters flee the village.

Fans may also look forward to new episodes of the original Naruto anime to commemorate its anniversary this September. The upcoming Naruto anime will premiere on September 3 at 5:30 p.m. JST / 4:30 a.m. EDT on TV Tokyo and other affiliated broadcasting networks in Japan. Four episodes will air weekly until September 24, and Crunchyroll is expected to stream these episodes in the west. The Boruto anime will likely return sometime afterwards.
