UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes] Announced at EVO 2023

Arc System Works announced UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes], the next installment in the long-running UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH series. The new title is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in early 2024. 

Previously, Under Night In-Birth 2 was rated in Korea in April 2023. Series developer French Bread confirmed that a new Under Night In-Birth game is in development as of September 20, 2021. The latest entry in the Under Night In-Birth series is 2020’s Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r]. 

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes] Announced

According to Arc System Works and French Bread, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes] is the culmination to the “The Tale of the Hollow Night” saga. The game will support rollback netcode, and up to nine players may player together in lobbies. The game supports Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish language options.

After 10 years of operation, the 7th title in the series is the first to affix a number!
With completely redesigned visuals, a new tale of Night is depicted.
Even more playable characters to be added!

The first in the series to include rollback netcode, prepare for blistering online matches.
New moves and new battle systems have been added to further evolve the battle.
Experience high-octane battles with ultra high definition pixel graphics.

The tale of the Hollow Night is about to reach its climax…!

French Bread fans may look forward to Melty Blood: Type Lumina tournament play at EVO 2023 this weekend. Melty Blood: Type Lumina is a main stage title for EVO 2023 with a $25,000 prize pool for competitors. Unlike previous EVO events, the tournament will feature a top 6 instead of a top 8 due to time constraints. EVO 2023 is set for August 4 to 6 from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
