    Hololive Announces Pokémon UNITE World Tournament

    The worlds of Hololive and Pokémon soon meet.

    Hololive and The Pokémon Company announced the Hololive Pokémon UNITE World Tournament will be held on August 9. This official Pokémon UNITE event from Hololive will promote the Pokémon World Championships 2023, which will begin two days later on August 11.

    The Pokémon World Championships 2023 will feature high-level play in the traditional trading card game and Pokémon UNITE. The annual event will be held in the PACIFICO Yokohama venue in Japan, marking the tournament’s debut in Asia. From August 11 to 13, players who have won the qualifiers from all over the world “will challenge to be the very best with their favorite Pokémon!” Before then, Hololive will host an official tournament to promote the annual event.

    Hololive Pokémon UNITE World Tournament Announced

    Hololive, Hololive English, and Hololive Indonesia will participate in the Hololive Pokémon UNITE World Tournament starting August 9 at 8 p.m. PST. The event will be streamed live from each of the participating Hololive VTubers’ YouTube channels. Winners will be awarded Pokémon UNITE WCS 2023 official uniforms, 2D trophies with Pokémon motifs, and plushies given by The Pokémon Company.

    In Pokémon UNITE, fans may celebrate the game’s second anniversary with new 5v5 Panic Parade battles and Battle Pass 17. The latest Battle Pass lets players unlock several rewards including Marine Style: Greedent, Captain Style: Zacian Holowear, and Captain Set Trainer fashion items.

    Lastly, Pokémon UNITE is available now for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch.
