Tekken 8 Begins Distributing Closed Network Test Codes

Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 closed network test codes are now being distributed for PlayStation 5. Fans who have successfully registered for the closed network test will receive a code before the test begins on July 21. 

Tekken 8 is the next mainline title in the prolific fighting game franchise, and Tekken fans will be able to face each other in a limited-time closed network test. The closed network test will be held across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and PlayStation 5 players receive early access this week. Codes are being distributed right now to PlayStation 5 users, allowing them to download the closed network test and prepare for servers to go live this Friday.

Tekken 8 Closed Network Test Codes Distribution

Tekken 8 closed network test codes are being distributed via email to PlayStation 5 users who registered at the game’s official website. Recipients may enter their codes in the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 5, and the early access period will begin on July 21 at 1 a.m. PDT. Players who receive the closed network test code for PlayStation 5 will automatically have access to the main test, which runs from July 28 1 a.m. to July 31 at 12 a.m. PDT.

Closed network test codes for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam will be distributed on July 26, which is two days before the main test begins. As previously announced, players will have access to 16 playable characters, five stages, and ranked matches with cross-platform play support (up to rank 10). Heat Energy has been removed in the closed network test, and heat activation time of Heat Timer will change depending on how the heat is activated.
Additionally, the “Heat Smash” command has been standardized for all playable characters.
