Dotemu has released a brand-new trailer for the DLC of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has been revealed. Titled Dimension Shellshock, the DLC pack will release later this year.
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge was initially released in June 2022. The game was a successful and beloved homage to the Ninja Turtles beat-em-ups of old. More information will be revealed about the DLC closer to its official release.
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Dimension Shellshock
Initially revealed in June 2023, the TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge DLC features several exciting new additions. These include a new mode, a new character in the form of Usagi Yojimbo, and new music tracks courtesy of Tee Lopes. The latest trailer reveals more information about the new mode.
Survival Mode is a brand-new addition to the gameplay of Shredder’s Revenge. The mode involves you facing hordes of enemies as you slowly try to upgrade your skills and earn more tools to help you fight the waves of mutants thrown your way. The trailer’s description described more of what to expect from the game’s survival mode:
Collect crystals, upgrade your character and mutate into your greatest foes to brawl from dimension to dimension, each with its own unique look and feel. Unlock additional lives, ninja power bars, Radical Mode and extra hit points so that nothing stands between you and Shredder’s latest plan.
In addition to the trailer reveal, PlayStation Underground released an eleven-minute gameplay showcase demonstrating more details about Survival Mode. The demo shows off more of the fast-paced gameplay of Shredder’s Revenge. It also teases some cosmetic changes the player can unlock. Finally, Dimension Shellshock will allow players to transform into certain enemies. These include Shredder himself, complete with a unique moveset, along with other iconic Ninja Turtles characters.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Dimension Shellshock will be available for Shredder’s Revenge later this year. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming DLC, including an official release date.
