TAITO announced TAITO LD Game Collection, a new collection featuring three classic laserdisc games from the company’s catalog. TAITO LD Game Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 14 in Japan, and several details have been revealed.
The upcoming collection will feature Time Gal HD Remaster, Space Battleship Yamato HD Remaster, and Revenge of the Ninja HD Remaster. These games have been improved for Nintendo Switch, and the collection will be sold physically and digitally for 9,680 yen in Japan. Moreover, fans will receive special Prime Day bonus with pre-orders from July 11 to 12 via Amazon Japan. This particular bonus is Space Battleship Yamato Arcade Game Edition, which will be sold separately at a later date.
TAITO LD Game Collection Physical Edition
A physical TAITO LD Game Collection special edition will also be available for 19,580 yen. Special edition contents include a special blu-ray disc, document collection, “Reika” reproduction mini standee, Time Gal reproduction mini poster, Revenge of the Ninja pamphlet reprint, sound app download code, and Time Gal Reverse download code. TAITO’s latest announcement comes just a month and a half before TAITO Milestones 2 releases on August 31 for Nintendo Switch. This particular collection includes various arcade games from the 80s and 90s in a single package for $39.99. Pre-orders for the physical edition are available now at participating retailers, including Amazon.
