Capcom announced tonight that Street Fighter 6 has reached over two million copies sold. This is an increase from the initial update of one million copies sold on June 7. Street Fighter 6 was originally unveiled in February 2022, where we saw Ryu and Luke running in the RE Engine.
The first gameplay was shown off in June 2022 at Sony’s State of Play. While it originally just had a 2023 release date, that was later refined to Summer 2023 with a release date announced at The Game Awards.
Two Million Copies of Street Fighter 6 Sold
This is a great pace for the title, which is just over a month old at this point. Rashid, the game’s first DLC fighter, is scheduled to be released on July 24. You can check out the announcement from Capcom below:
