Koei Tecmo and GUST revealed new details about events, Photo Mode, and minigames in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg. The remake re-imagines and adapts the original Atelier Marie title while adding new content for returning fans and newcomers to enjoy.
Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg includes additional events for a “completely new scenario” as players learn more about the characters. The remake will include an all-new Photo Mode that allows Marie and her friends to pose and take pictures. Pictures may be decorated with items, and the “Hall of Memories” allows players to change filters and other elements. Further, Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg includes six reworked minigames that are accessible from the “Extras” menu.

In Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, players are reintroduced to Marie, a struggling student at the Royal Academy of Magic, whose ultimate goal is to create an item within five years that will satisfy her teacher. This re-imagined take on the classic title introduces freshly written additional events for a completely new scenario where players will be able to learn intimate details about the characters that were not in the original story!
In addition, Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburgplayers can immortalize their cozy RPG adventure in the all-new Photo Mode. Here, they can play with poses and expressions of Marie and friends. Pictures taken can then be decorated with stamps and other items, while also enabling players to head to the “Hall of Memories” to change filters, frames and camera angles.
Also reworked for Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg are six fun and exciting minigames, remade for the latest platforms. Games include Punipuni Hammer, Golden Salmon Search, Catch Those Rats, Apple Rush, Treasure Hunt, and Name Collector. Minigames can be accessed from the “Extras” menu and succeeding in these minigames will reward players with valuable new items!
Lastly, Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg launches July 13 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
