At the recent PlayStation Showcase, they showed off gameplay that revealed the power of the black suit and a far more expansive New York City. People weren’t expecting to hear anything more about Spider-Man 2 for a while, but at Summer Game Fest, they revealed a lot of substantial information about the upcoming release.
Story Information

In the recent reveal, Insomniac teased how the new villains would work in the story. Insomniac Creative Director, Bryan Intihar, confirmed that Venom would not be Eddie Brock, contrary to the comics. They also confirmed that Kraven would be a different character compared to previous antagonists. He has someone who has no powers, his only claim to fame is being the best hunter in the world.
