    Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXVII airs on May 12 at 4:00 a.m. PDT / 7:00 a.m. EDT. Following a week-long break for Golden Week, Square Enix will be ready to share more news about Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne

    Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXVII will reveal more new details about part two of Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.4. The new patch will launch in late May 2023. Additionally, fans can expect news about miscellaneous updates for Final Fantasy XIV (i.e. servers, minor changes). Once more, the live letter broadcast is hosted by Final Fantasy XIV producer Naoki Yoshida. Final Fantasy fans may tune into the event on NicoNico, Twitch, and YouTube.

    Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne will introduce a slew of new content including new main scenario quests, the final installment of the Pandæmonium raid series, The Voidcast Dais trial, and a new dungeon. Further, players can expect a variety of side content to become available such as more Tataru’s Grand Endeavor quests, Island Sanctuary updates, Crystalline Conflict Season 7, Kugane ocean fishing, and much more. Patch 6.4 is set to become one of the largest patches yet since the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

    As previously discussed, major changes to Allagan Tomestones will be made in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne. The update will add Allagan Tomestones of Comedy into the game’s economy, and Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy and Aphorism will no longer be obtainable. Allagan Tomestones of Comedy will serve as the main Tomestones for players who have reached level 90 with at least one class. Lastly, Allagan Tomestones of Poetics will remain unchanged.

    Final Fantasy XIV and the latest expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, are available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
