The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Will Cost $70

The industry standard is seamlessly now $70.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, it has been announced that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be the first $70 title from Nintendo. This is a shift from the standard $60 titles Nintendo has been releasing for the past three years.

While there was no proper announcement regarding the stance, it was expected that this would be the case for Tears of the Kingdom as last night the price was listed on the eShop. Additionally, retailers began to delist the product from their stores.

It is not clear if future titles such as Pikmin 4 will also be priced at $70 at this time.
