Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Surpasses Over 1.81 Million Copies Sold

Six months later, 1.5 million copies have been sold.

In the latest financial earnings, Nintendo has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has sold 1.81 million copies.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was released in July 2022 and met with critical acclaim across the board. The title was awarded Final Weapon’s 2022 Game of the Year Award. Currently, two more waves of DLC are set to be released, including a brand new story DLC expansion.

In November, it was confirmed that the title is the fastest-selling game in the Xenoblade series thus far, which is incredible news for the franchise. XC3 served as the collision between the worlds of the first two titles, and it offers an incredible journey you need to experience for yourself.

With numbers like these, one has to think that after the story DLC the title will catch up to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It currently sits somewhere around 2.5 million units, however, that is across over five years. The number of copies Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has sold is already almost 75% of the way there to XC2‘s numbers.

It’s so great to see such a magnificent series receive the positivity and growth we’ve seen in the past few years.
