    Tekken World Tour 2023 Announced as the ‘Fully Offline Finale’ of Tekken 7

    Bandai Namco confirmed Tekken World Tour 2023 begins on March 31 at EVO Japan 2023, marking the beginning of the “fully offline finale” of Tekken 7

    Before the release of Tekken 8, Tekken World Tour 2023 will be the final major tournament series for Tekken 7. The international offline tournament series will come to multiple tournaments around the world including EVO Japan. In fact, EVO Japan 2023 will be the first stop of Tekken World Tour 2023. EVO Japan 2023 takes place from March 31 to April 2 from the Tokyo Big Sight. 

    Challenger events are back for Tekken World Tour 2023, bringing community events into the spotlight with the potential of becoming future Master events. Additionally, Dojo events will return, allowing individual tournament organizers to apply as an official offline event. More details about the upcoming tournament series, including a full schedule, will be revealed at a later date on the official website.

    Bandai Namco revealed more details about Tekken 8 during the Tekken World Tour 2022 Finals. Nina Williams returns in Tekken 8, leaving her wedding dress behind for more conventional assassin gear. Additionally, Bandai Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada explained more gameplay mechanics in an introductory video for Tekken 8

    Lastly, Tekken 8 is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
