    Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 Launches May 11

    Digital deluxe edition announced.

    CyberConnect2 announced turn-based RPG Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 launches May 11 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. 

    The Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 Deluxe Edition will be sold featuring an 80-page digital art book and 15-track digital soundtrack. Additionally, the Deluxe Edition includes DLC sleepwear costumes, Dummy Energy for the Managarm, Dummy Soul for the Soul Cannon, and a set of bonus items.

    Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2’s official website has been updated with new details about the story, characters, and much more. The latest details are available below (Thanks, Gematsu):

    Story

    The war was fought and won. Life went on.

    After saving the world aboard the giant tank Taranis, the children return home to live out their lives in peace.

    Until one day… Half their number become trapped within the Taranis as it goes on a rampage, leaving atrocity and strife in its wake.

    The children and their new friend Vanilla, climb aboard their erstwhile foe, the Tarascus, and give chase to save their captive friends.

    The tragedy that awaits may lead them down a path of revenge…

    • Malt Marzipan (voiced by Ayumu Murase)
      • “I’ll make you regret ever being born!”
      • Age: 13
      • Caninu
      • The eldest of the group of children from Petit Mona. The arduous conflict a year past granted him a sober maturity. By the same token, he now finds himself in the world-weary pitfall of jaded cynicism.
    • Mei Marzipan (voiced by Hina Kino)
      • “I can do anything!”
      • Age: 5
      • Caninu
      • Malt’s younger sister. Mei can’t wait to grow up and help everyone just like Hanna, who she views as a sister. She cherishes the hat Malt gave to her.
    • Hanmna Fondant (voiced by Reina Ueda)
      • “I want to be a doctor someday so I can help people…”
      • Age: 13
      • Felineko
      • Malt’s childhood friend. She helps around the house while studying to become a doctor with the aim of saving as many lives as possible. She’s always will- ing to make sacrifices for the good of others.
    • Kyle Bavarois (voiced by Sachi Kokuryu)
      • “Man, it feels like a bad dream being in here.
      • Age: 12
      • Felineko
      • Following the arduous battle of the previous year, Kyle has since learned the importance of being part of the team-he’s much more open than he used to be. He still sees Malt as his rival.
    • Boron Brioche (voiced by Shinnosuke Tokudome)
      • “It’s lots more fun when everyone’s together, huh?”
      • Age: 11
      • Felineko
      • After surviving many fierce battles, Boron is a crybaby no longer-though his kind and gentle heart remains intact. Now he aims to curb his overindulgence in culinary fare.
    • Socks Million (voiced by Miyu Tomita)
      • “What a marvelous piece of machinery!”
      • Age: 11
      • Caninu
      • Socks uses the engineering knowledge he’s gained through studying the Taranis to hone his unique craft as an inventor. His current interests lie in Berman’s airship technology.
    • Vanilla Muscat (voiced by Mami Fujita)
      • “I’m Vanilla. Nice to meet you all.”
      • Age: 11
      • Felineko
      • The President’s youngest daughter. Due to her upbringing, she is well-educated, well-behaved, and always speaks in a polite manner. She can be a bit impetuous and hard-headed at times, which she considers a personal failing.

    He worked on not only the character designs, but a wide variety of other elements, including image boards, background art, mechanical part designs, and even the designs for the Taranis and enemy tanks as well.

    • Managarm – A second form of the Soul Cannon, the “Managarm,” utilizes the life force of the children to annihilate foes.
    • Judgment System – The newly-introduced Judgment system ensures that each choice made affects the trajectory of the story.
    • Airship System – Players can now progress along battle routes in new ways using the airship system.
