EXNOA announced a new Tenchi Muyo Galaxy Police Transporter (GXP) anime series is in production, and a new teaser website was launched.

The new anime series is officially titled Tenchi Muyo GXP: Paradise Begins. Paradise Begins takes place many years after the original GXP anime. Protagonist Seina Yamada returns to Earth after being assigned a new mission. Production of this new anime was decided as part of Tenchi Muyo’s 30th anniversary celebration.

EXNOA’s anime brand, Kinematics, will be producing the new anime with mangaka Masaki Kajishima serving as the supervising director. Further, Hideki Shirane will provide screenplays for the new anime. Shirane previously worked on the original Tenchi Muyo GXP anime, Tenchi Muyo War on Geminar, and the fourth and fifth seasons of the Tenchi Muyo anime (Thanks, Siliconera).
