Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Reaches Final Stages of Development

Rabbit & Bear Studios looks forward to 2023.

Rabbit & Bear Studios published a new Kickstarter update for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, revealing the game entered the final stages of development at the studio.

Game creator Yoshitaka Murayama looks back at the beginning of development in 2020 to now, thanking backers and fans for their continued support. Illustrator Junko Kawano reveals reveals work on characters illustrations is almost complete, and developer Osamu Komuta provided an update on the game’s development status.

According to Komuta, development of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is ongoing with the team incorporating components into the main build. Various problems may arise as the team develops and tests the game, but they’re determined to find solutions and improve the final product. The game is in the final stages of development, and screenshots will be shown starting in early 2023.

Here’s what Komuta had to say via Kickstarter:

“Production on Eiyuden: Hundred Heroes continues at a clip as we start to incorporate components into the main build. Various problems may arise as we insert prototypes and confirmed specifications into the build and we have to solve these one by one, but we work with the team every day to find solutions.”

Komuta adds, “This message ended up being kind of clerical, but we’re now in the final stages of the game’s development. We’re going to start showing everyone screenshots of the game from the beginning of next year, so we hope you’re looking forward to that.”

Lastly, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes releases in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
