D3 Publisher and SHADE released a new update for the Steam version of Samurai Maiden, which applies bug fixes and combat adjustments.
According to D3 Publisher, the new update changes some English text in the Prologue, Chapter 1 (End), Chapter 12 (Start), and Iyo’s Bubble Pocket #5 (End). Additionally, the company took feedback regarding the game’s combat to make some adjustments in the new update. For example, Tsumugi may now recover more easily from being stunned, and invincibility timing has been adjusted. Further, area of effect for Devious Decoys were improved.

- Invincibility time has been set when Tsumugi gets up from a down condition.
- Invincibility time has been set when Tsumugi returns from a stun condition.
- Tsumugi is now easier to recover from stun conditions.
- The area of effect of Devious Decoys has been expanded and their duration extended.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the game to stop when a character demo was displayed.
Samurai Maiden is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
