At The Game Awards tonight, it was announced that a sequel to the smash hit Hades is on the way. Aptly titled Hades II. Super Giant Games is currently developing it now, with Early Access on the way next year! News on Early Access is coming in 2023, so you can give your feedback and help the game improve.
Hades II New Info
The original Hades’ focus on Greek Mythology is still the main theme, however for the sequel the focus on the Greek roots of the dawn of witchcraft. Take on the Titan-of-Time with your dark magic. Play as the original game’s protagonist’s sister, the witch Melinoë. With the aide of Olympians, take on the Titan’s army as you make your way through the underworld and beyond.
Hades II is a direct sequel and keeps the dungeon-crawler, rogue-like gameplay of the original. Expect gameplay refinements and a new story. The premise stays true to what is known of Greek Myths, coupled with Super Giant Games filling in some blanks and adding in their brand of charming writing.
Available platforms along with Early Access dates will be announced at a later time.
