AEW Fight Forever To Receive Constant Updates, No Annual Releases Planned

The game will "constantly evolve over time."

All Elite Wrestling pro wrestler Evil Uno confirmed AEW Fight Forever will receive constant updates after release according to Fightful Select.

Evil Uno states AEW Fight Forever will “constantly evolve over time” instead of depending on recurring or annual releases. These updates will add new content and features to AEW Fight Forever. As a result, sequels are not currently planned at this time. A release date for the full game was not announced in the latest news release.

“This is instead of an annual or recurring release that would require the purchase of a new game for each edition. He even said that the ‘Fight Forever’ name plays into that,” Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp said.

The upcoming wrestling game will feature roughly 50 pro wrestlers from AEW at launch. AEW Fight Forever’s roster includes Chris Jericho, “Hangman” Adam Page, Sting, Darby Allin, Adam Cole, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, Thunder Rosa, Jon Moxley, MJF, and much more. Instead of competing with the WWE 2K franchise, AEW’s new game will appeal to classic Nintendo 64 wrestling fans and new players alike.

Lastly, AEW Fight Forever is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2023.
