Square Enix announced NieR: Automata surpassed seven million copies sold and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… surpassed 1.5 million copies sold. The latest sales data includes physical shipments and digital copies sold.

NieR: Automata first launched on February 23, 2017 for PlayStation 4 in Japan followed by March 7 in North America and March 10 in Europe. The game would come to Steam on March 17 followed by the Xbox One release on June 26, 2018. NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139… launched on April 23, 2021 worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. One year later, NieR: Automata would come to Nintendo Switch as NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition on October 6, 2022.
NieR: Automata’s Adam and Eve were introduced in a new trailer for the upcoming NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime here. The anime premieres in January 2023.
